Caitlin's crew hammers speckled trout and redfish on Matagorda!
Action-packed day from the get-go! Took Caitlin and their crew of four out on Matagorda Bay this winter afternoon for our 5-hour Guided Fishing Adventure. Partly cloudy skies made for perfect conditions on the water, and Matagorda delivered exactly what we were hopin' for. Y'all couldn't have picked a better day to get out there with Bay Finatic Fishing Guide Service LLC.
Once the stage was set, we worked the bay using a mix of drift fishing and bottom fishing techniques to target the speckled trout and redfish. Sight fishing opportunities came up throughout the afternoon, and we made the most of every chance. Matagorda Bay is prime territory for this kind of inshore action - the structure and grass flats hold fish year-round, and the winter patterns were right on schedule. We hammered down on both species, with speckled trout and redfish cooperating nicely. Reckon the crew had themselves a big ol' time watching that tug is the drug in action all afternoon.
