One for the books today! Robert and their crew joined us for a summer evening trip on the flats around Matagorda. Partly cloudy skies with some rain rolling through made for interesting conditions on the water. We launched with Bay Finatic Fishing Guide Service LLC for our Unleash the Nighttime Adventure: Gigging Fun in Matagorda adventure.

Once the stage was set, we worked the flats using sight fishing and poling techniques. The crew got some good wade fishing action in between the rain showers. Matagorda's shallow water system is perfect for this type of fishing - y'all can really see what's happening in the clear water when conditions line up right. We didn't stick a trophy on this run, but every cast and minute on the water was worth it. The evening bite can be real good when the weather cooperates, and we had ourselves a fine time out there.
